 Week of May 3

Monday: 

Tuesday: May the fourth be with you!    Star Wars clothes or costumes are encouraged in class today :) 

Wednesday:  LA Insect investigations are due.  These non-fiction posters are to be turned in from Google Classroom when the paper research and rubric is handed in.

Thursday:

Friday (half day): Spelling test and assignment due

* Our electric car building kits have come in and we will be starting these the week of the 17th so those bags of supplies can start coming into school next week :)   One additional item - the battery holders that are part of the car building set take 2 AA batteries to keep the car lighter and more maneuverable.  Please include at least 2 batteries with your child's supplies*

Kit bags should include:  

cardboard bases (2) precut to about 12 x 17cm 

6-10 wooden skewers and 6-10 plastic straws (that the skewers fit inside easily)

6-10 milk or other plastic lids for wheels

other items to decorate or build with

2-4  batteries AA
