Week of April 24 :
** For our final swim to survive class this week students need to bring both a swimsuit, as well as a simple set of clothes that they will wear over their suit to jump in the pool with (examples would be something like leggings or sweat pants and a t-shirt). Don't forget to send a plastic bag for these wet clothes too **
Monday: Math weekly comes home.
* Students each need a popcan (or other tin or cardboard cylinder like a Pringles container) for science Tuesday when we will be building popcan dragsters.
Tuesday: Last time for Swimming in the afternoon - towels, swimwear and a set of clothes to wear in the pool in a separate bag are needed
Science lab - popcan dragsters
Wednesday:
Thursday: Legend rough copies to be completed by the end of the day today. (Planning on these were done before spring break)
Division for marks
Friday (half day): Math weekly is due
Science info: It's time for everyone to start collecting supplies for Rube Goldberg projects which we will be creating next month - things like shoe boxes and cereal boxes, balloons, paper towel rolls, string, small containers like yogurt... Please keep a bag of items at home and before we begin building they can come to the school.
A Rube Goldberg device is one that uses a series of steps to complete a simple task like popping a balloon, ringing a bell... and it's also our final project for our Building Things unit which is coming soon.
