We're in the last week of March - how did that happen?

For our next big Science project we will be creating stop motion shadow animations.

Since this is a tricky business we started yesterday by becoming familiar with the app "stop motion animator", then today we were building short stop motion videos using clay, playdoh or figurines.  For the first day of trials these turned out great!  Check out these little videos by following the link to our folder Stop motion animation trials.  Stay tuned for the shadow version of these videos over the next couple of weeks :)

Apologies for getting this out later than normal this week.  I wish I could say it was because I was out playing in the sun, but unfortunately it's just a busy week!

For the whole month of March we are continuing with our Light Painting Challenge.  If your child hasn't yet tried their hand at a unique light project, please help them to remember this goal.  To see other projects so far, follow this link.

Tuesday:  No weekly homework assignment due to the short week, but Reading Records are due Thursday.  Please be sure as parents to read your child's answers.  Do they give details?  Do they show understanding of the book?  Then sign them and return them to school.
