In our classroom we have created our "shoe boxes of Science" to be used for a variety of light experiments. Next week we are going to be using them to test the properties of different items to see if they are transparent, translucent or opaque.
Please help your child to find at least 3 items that they can bring by Monday to test. Some examples might be: plastic wrap, tinfoil, fabric but they might also be almost anything! A small container, a toy... The testing holes that we have made are about 5 cm around so the item needs to be big enough to cover the hole (it also needs to fit in the shoe box so nothing too big please).
Thank you for your help!
