Week of September 19:
Thank you to everyone that has already returned the signed copies of our two field trip forms (sent home last week). If you haven't done this yet, please get them sent in this week.
*Also a big thank you to anyone that has reached out to volunteer to join our class at the Canmore waste management centre and the Francis Cooke landfill.
Monday: This week's homework is spelling. I run three spelling groups in class and last Friday we completed a pretest to help me to find the best fit for your child. Spelling groups are fluid though and can change as the year goes on based on what I see, or what you or your child feel about the word lists.Your child should bring their spelling duotang home. In it you will find this week's assignment. Students will also have a copy of their word list. If they have misplaced it you can access it from the LA page of my website (scroll down to spelling). Please help to guide your child's word practice and also to check in that they are doing their homework according to the instructions (there are always 2 steps to complete).

Friday: Spelling assignment due and test -first thing in the morning.
