Week of December 11
* I know that many families travel for the holidays. If at all possible, please help your child to attend school each day to be part of the learning we will continue to do until the final day. If your child will not be at school, advance notice is appreciated so we can try not to start the new year with outstanding assignments.
Monday: Math weekly #6 goes home
Tuesday: ** All field trip forms (for Swim to Survive and the CCHS Aladdin presentation) due back
Wednesday: Full day field trip to our Outdoor Learning Center - please ensure that your child is dressed appropriately to be outside all day, has a bag lunch and a full water bottle. ** A big thank you to our two wonderful parent volunteers that will be joining us! **
Winter Concert in the evening- students arrive by 6:15 and come into our classroom. Parents, please make your way to the gym and find your seat :)
Thursday: Walking to CCHS about 1:45. Please help to prepare your child for this speedy walk by talking about the importance of staying with the group ahead of time as we'll need to arrive in a timely manner and make it back to school before busses arrive.
Friday (half day):
- Math weekly #6 is due
- Science - Eye safety posters are due

Fun Fair today!
This amazing, engaging event was inspired and supported by our Right from the Start team. The game stations for our class were created and hosted by the wonderful leaders in 7A 😀
Kael: Everytime when we missed the grade 7s said positive things like " nice try " "You'll get it next time".
AJ: I'm so proud of the grade 7s. I played a lot of games!
Ruby: I was happy because I got the high score on one of the games!
Aleah: When I missed or was upset with myself the grade 7s said "That's ok" to make me feel better.
Will: I like when we went to each game they said "Hello, what's your name?" and then they told us about the game.
Dexter: I really loved all of the games. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality.
Tora: I liked how when we went to each game they explained and they were good sports when we lost and then gave high fives when we won.
Keenan: They were so nice it was like I already knew them.
Kinsley: I liked how all of the games were so unique!
Sullivan: I liked how all the games were unique and fun.
